Dog Beds.

The size shape and age of your dog will determine or atleast limit the dog bed you buy for him. 

A verry small breed dog can use most dog beds but you should buy the one that fits him best seeing as small breed dogs tend to live longer on average it will be worth the investment.

Medium size dogs should be fit to a bed atleast equal to their body size.

Large breed dogs will probably be the hardest to shop for and may need special attention to size and breed requirements due to hip dislasia and the likes.

Older dogs may require asistance from a vet to determine the correct firmness to keep from harming the spine.

There are some really good Dog Tags sites out there. I really like the uniqueness and color combinations available they come in so many sizes shapes and colors it is getting hard to clasify them anymore some tags are for  cats some for people hey you might even find one for your dog.

You can buy all kinds of dog training books hardcover paperback published from 2011 to 1850 if you look hard enough you can find electronc copies of books published earlier.

I have found that the best way for me to learn positve dog training techniques is threw videos they can cover all the basic dog training techniques like house training forpups  or older dogs training for hunting dogs guard dog training obedience training and many other subjects  faster and easier than I can read it leaving my mind free to take it all in I hope you take videos into your daily training rountine it can be one of the most rewarding methods of of leaning and may put you on the fast track to success with handling your new best friend one method I learned on my own and would like to put into a video for my readers one dayyou can teach a timid dog new tricks by having and older more assertive dog present that already knows the trick just give the oold dog the command and let him show your shy dog how the trick is done then practiss with the tiid dog when he gets it right reinforce with peting and treats kind of like a K9 drill instructor for pups
